Camp Program
We offer a program focusing on traditional campcraft and wilderness skills. All children receive instruction in outdoor living skills, backpacking, camping, swimming, and boating. Campers may also choose from a wide array of additional activities ranging from various natural crafts to fishing and archery to more physical challenges such as rock climbing. Older campers often pursue long-term projects such as making a canoe paddle they can use when they are back as staff members or planning solos on camp property.
Throughout the summer, we pursue activities that take advantage of our beautiful setting as well as the resources of our woods and talents of our staff. Our program is a flexible one, progressive throughout the summer but crafted daily to respond to the prevailing weather and needs and interests of the group.
We share Indian Point with nesting bald eagles, mink, great horned owls, loons, beaver, and many other animals. Their calls and habits are an intimate part of our daily program.
